The aluminum stair nosing comes with or without the luminous strip. If there is enough light, the aluminium stair nosing supplied with the luminescent glow in the dark strip will illuminate in the event of a power-failure allowing safe egress of buildings as a result from fire or other emergencies.
These aluminium stair nosings, also known as stair edgings, are ideal for indoor environments with a low to medium tread count, for example office steps and emergency exit stair wells.

Aluminum nosing with chevron anti slip inlay
Non-slip.co.za now has a safety nosing for steps with a black and yellow chevron anti slip inlay. One of the main reason for falls on steps and stairs is there is no indication as to where the edge of the steps is. This means it is easy to take a mis-step which starts the fall. These bright yellow and black (chevron) stair nosings should help prevent a mis-step.

By using the aluminium nosing with chevron anti slip inlay, you will see and know where the edge of the steps are. The classic black and yellow is know for warning of hazards and visually stands out — so you can take a safer step.
